President Prabowo Subianto to Attend APEC Summit in Peru

AKTUALDETIK.COM - President Prabowo Subianto arrived at the Grupo 8 Alar Air Force Military Base, Jorge Chavez International Airport, Lima, Peru, on Wednesday, November 13, 2024, at around 10.35 pm local time.

The Head of State was welcomed by the Peruvian Minister of Agriculture Angel Manuel Manero Campos, the Indonesian Ambassador to Lima Ricky Suhendar, the Commander General del Ala Aérea N° 2 Major General Julio Cesar Gutiérrez Gonzales, and the Deputy Head of the Peruvian State Protocol Minestera Sandra pinto La Fuente. 19/11/2024

In addition, there were also honorary troops who welcomed and accompanied President Prabowo to the vehicle.From the airport, President Prabowo along with his entourage went straight to the hotel where he was staying overnight in Peru.

During the visit, President Prabowo Subianto is set to make a state visit and attend the Asia Pacific Economic Cooperation (APEC) Summit.He will also hold bilateral meetings with a number of leaders of friendly countries on the sidelines of his visit agenda.

Previously, President Prabowo departed from Andrews Military Base, Washington DC, the United States, at around 2.00 pm local time.While in Washington DC, President Prabowo held several meetings, including with the US President Joe Biden at the White House.

Also accompanying President Prabowo during this visit were Minister of Foreign Affairs Sugiono and Cabinet Secretary Teddy Indra Wijaya. Meanwhile, those welcoming President Prabowo at the hotel where he was staying were Coordinating Minister for the Economic Affairs Airlangga Hartarto, Minister of Trade Budi Santoso, and Special Advisor to the President for National Defense Dudung Abdurachman. (BPMI of Presidential Secretariat).
